Toilet Floor Rebuild
The old toilet had sustained water damage while nobody was living in the house. During the summer months condensation would build on the tank and drip down to the floor where it was absorbed between the vinyl tiles.
The floor surrounding the toilet was buckling
Removing the toilet exposed rot and possibly evidence of carpenter ants.
Vinyl tiles had rot and mold on the underside.
Water damage has spread to the beams and flooring. The floor was easily ripped out by hand in the worst areas.
Soaked all the affected wood in bleach water and reinforced the next day.
